Antonia Lofaso
Antonia Lofaso's cuisine is an invitation to explore the possibilities within her. She began to be interested in food after moving from the suburban Long Island to the diverse culture that is Los Angeles. Cavatelli, carnitas and different dishes are all available on one menu. This is a constantly changing sensibility. With every dish she serves she draws a picture that is unique and reflects a longing for the historical. Scopa Italian Roots, which Lofaso founded in 2013, was a huge success because it was inspired by her Italian tradition. Lofaso's old-school Italian rendition is widely regarded as one of Los Angeles' most captivating restaurants. Lofaso's food is consistently delicious, welcoming and pleasing. Lofaso was trained by the most renowned chefs and mastered their methods but she never scared to challenge her own intuitions. She quickly rose through the ranks at Wolfgang Puck's Spago and went on to transform various high-profile kitchens in Los Angeles while working closely with many high-profile celebrities. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in the year 2011. Lofaso was able to find an outlet within Black Market as well as the alliances she created. The partnership would allow for creativity and freedom Lofaso longed for. Black Market doesn't have one particular orientation. It's their goal. It would start with dill-flavored potato chips, Shishito peppers, and continue with Korean Wings. Antonia provides the overwhelming range of flavors. Lofaso, throughout her career, has judged her success by how well she understands her viewers. Also, she stays authentic to her personality. She has been a part of many television shows, like Top Chef Chicago, Top Chef: All Stars and Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child on The Food Network and ABC's Real O'neals. Her talents are still being showcased as a judge for CNBC's Restaurant Startup. Lofaso has released her book, The Busy Mother's Cookbook: 100 Quick and Delicious Recipes, in 2012, with Penguin. The book also tells the story of how she faced challenges when she was a student in her school, the French Culinary Institute. She was raising her daughter Xea also. Lofaso states that her love for cooking is the driving force behind her achievements. She is always on top of things through keeping a keen to the latest trends and fashions. Chefletics changes the way we look at chef wear with its focus on style and functionality. The most important thing to Lofaso is adhering to your ideals. To achieve this goal, she has launched Antonia Lofaso Catering, which will convey a more tailored approach to providing clients with the most personal service.
