Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently affiliated with CNBC. She serves as anchor of the channel's shows 'Squawk on the Street' and 'Closing Bell'. The Ohio native, she was not much interested in markets or currencies during her time in college. While at New York University she interned with ForexTV.com. It was her first encounter working in business news during this experience. Later, she earned an master's degree in broadcasting at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. The work experience was for the duration of four months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. She then returned to America and began her work in New York at Bloomberg. She later became a TV anchor. CNBC appointed her in December 2013 to be reporter. Eisen has been a co-anchor of 'Worldwide Exchange as well as 'Power Lunch' before landing the position on 'Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen has been co-anchoring the show 'Squawk on the Street' since 2014. She is among the most reputable business journalists today. Since joining CNBC, her primary attention has been on global consumer news.
