
Drew Blythe Barrymore, born on February 22, 1975, is an American actress, director and producer. She is also a host of a talk show, hosts, and author. She is part of the Barrymore acting family. She has received many awards and nominations such as an award for a Golden Globe Award as well as the Screen Actors Guild Award. There were also nominations for seven Emmy Awards, and a British Academy Film Award. She received an award on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2004.Barrymore became famous as a child actor with her breakout role in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a very publicized childhood which was marred by alcohol and drugs abuse, she wrote an autobiography Little Girl Lost. [1] She starred in a string of successful films in the 1990s and the 2000s, including Charlie's Angels, Never Been Kissed, Poison Ivy, Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After. Barrymore was the co-star together with Adam Sandler on three films, The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Other films she's been a part of in include Firestarter and Donnie Darko. In Whip It, her directorial debut film, she appeared in the film. Grey Gardens won her a Screen Actors Guild Award as and the Golden Globe Award. She was also a part of the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet. She currently hosts The Drew Barrymore Show, the talk-show that is syndicated.
